Link of the Week (or Whenever): Salt Lake Bees, 2007

July 04, 2008 — Found this on YouTube, from Salt Lake Bees photographer Brent Asay. Fun seeing all the familiar faces from last season. I believe that is Nick Gorneault (#22), now with the Round Rock Express, stealing a HR ball off the fence in left field. Sure miss you, Harp and Nags!

A quick note about the closing credits. Asay’s Angels is a member of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a non-profit organization dedicated to funding community-based breast health education, as well as breast cancer screening and treatment programs. The Salt Lake Bees sponsor a Pink Jersey fundraiser for them every May. Last year, Wendy Asay threw out the ceremonial first pitch to start the evening. Bye for now!
